Purchasing Restricted Items at the Sportsman Gun Centre

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO PURCHASE A RESTRICTED ITEMS FROM THE SPORTSMAN GUN CENTRE

WE CANNOT SEND AIRGUNS, SHOTGUNS, FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION TO PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES

By law customers buying a restricted product must hold the applicable licence and prove they are over the age of 18 at the point of collection. Any situation where the licence holders name does not match will result in the firearm/restricted item being retained by the Sportsman Gun Centre.

 

SALE OF RESTRICTED ITEMS

SGC will only send restricted items (firearms / shotguns / airguns) to one of our branches or a 3rd party Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD) for collection.

 

SALE OF NON-FAC AIRGUNS

For the collection of non-FAC airguns, you will need to provide a valid official photo ID proving you are over the age of 18.

 

SALE OF SHOTGUNS, FIREARMS AND FIREARM-RELATED PRODUCTS

Due to recent law changes, for Shotguns, FAC Rifles and other licensable products such as ammunition, gunpowders and primers you will need to send your license to the Sportsman Gun Centre. We will contact you to arrange this shortly after your order. If in doubt, please call before ordering.

 

GUN DELIVERY AND COMUNICATIONS

By placing an order for a gun, moderator or other licensed product, you understand that a member of staff will contact you to arrange and discuss delivery and collection options and a date for collection of your item(s). In some cases, the collection date may be later than the estimated delivery date shown on the product page and we will inform you if this is the case.

 

3RD PARTY RFDs AND CHARGES

Please note: A 3rd Party RFD may charge a small fee (typically £0 - £25) for the administration of your gun(s). This will be discussed when we contact you once you've placed your order

 

RETURNING FIREARMS

If returning goods for repair or servicing, please remove all unnecessary attachments. You must ensure that when returning Sporting guns the item(s) are not charged, cocked or loaded and are in a safe condition to travel. Please be aware it is your responsibility to ensure all goods returned to us are sufficiently packaged to withstand a normal carrier network. Please note: The Sportsman Gun Centre Ltd will not accept liability for loss or damage to goods as a result of the following: Goods returned without a return reference number, goods returned with unnecessary attachments, inadequate packaging and any item which is charged, loaded or unsafe to travel.

 

ONLINE KNIFE SALES

We can send certain age-restricted items not listed above (e.g. knives) to a home address but will verify your age before any age-restricted products are sent to a home address. You confirm you are over 18 years old and that you understand these terms and conditions.
