Wildcat MKIII BT

FX Airguns are known for innovative design and refinement to the highest levels, this can be seen in the New Wildcat MKIII for 2022! The iconic bullpup airgun, the FX Wildcat, has been updated with the power and air capacity to make it capable to handle slugs and heavier pellets in various shapes and sized. The form and function has made the Wildcat platform the favourite off-hand hunting PCP in the last 7 years.

Taming the massive power center and refining accuracy is accomplished by using dual FX AMP Regulators. The first regulator is placed just after the carbon fiber bottle (Aluminium bottle on the lower priced VP version) to reduce the total inital pressure in preparation for the second regulator. This provides less overall stress as well as allowing the use of 300 BAR bottles. The second AMP regulator allows the precise amount of air needed for consistency with each shot. Combined with the worlds most competition winning barrel system (the FX Smooth Twist X Barrel System), ensuring you have the most accurate rifle possible in your hands!

Being able to adjust your Air Rifle is key to truly making it your own, this is with both the regulators on the Wildcat MKIII BT are externally adjustable. Specifically being able to adjust the rear power adjuster allows you to dial in the rifle to the specific hunting situation; this means a shooter can shift from the higher speeds needed for long outdoors shots to the power required for closer shooting and practice in a backyard area.

Dont miss out on the new Wildcat MKIII BT!

Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments as availability of products can vary. For example certain products have specific delivery requirements which are explained below.

In-Store Items

These are items that we stock in one of our 3 SGC Shooting Superstores and orders for these items will take 2-3 days to arrive. If you would like to purchase the item in person then please call ahead to make sure the store you're travelling to has it in stock (Our main distribution warehouse is located at the Exeter branch).

Direct Shipment Items

These products are dispatched direct from the manufacturer on behalf of Sportsman Gun Centre. In most cases they will arrive separately to any other items you have ordered. Please see the individual product pages for specific delivery estimates as each manufacturer will use a different courier. If you need to return or exchange your product please return the items to Sportsman Gun Centre's Exeter branch. For more information please call 01392 354 854.

Collection Only Items

These items normally require Identification (Passport) or a Firearms / Shotgun Certificate before they are handed over. Shotguns, Rifles, Airguns and Moderators are usually good examples. When purchasing a 'collection only' item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. In all instances you can choose to collect your item from one of our stores (Exeter, Dorset or Newport) or from a 3rd party gun dealer. The latter may be at an additional cost to yourself.

The Sportsman Gun Centre advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information if they are in any way unsure of local duties or liabilities. Cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities which means some packages maybe opened and re-sealed.

Airguns Sub 12 FT/LB

What we call an airgun in everyday language is known in law as a ‘low powered air weapon’. That basically means an air rifle capable of less than 12ft lbs in energy, or an air pistol of less than 6ft lbs in energy. An airgun may be powered by a spring and piston, a reservoir of compressed air or compressed CO2.

You can buy, own and use an airgun without needing a certificate. Except Scotland where you are required to have a valid Air Weapon Certificate. Air Weapon Certificates can be obtained through an application to your local police force. More details can be found at

If you have ever been sentenced to more than three months’ imprisonment, you are automatically banned from owning an airgun for five years; a sentence over three years means a lifetime ban.

There are age restrictions on who can buy an airgun, you must be over the age of 18 and be able to prove this at the point of purchase.

Below the age of 14, you can only use an airgun under the supervision of someone over 21 and only on private land. You cannot own or receive an airgun as a gift until you are 18.

Over the age of 14 you can use an airgun with permissions on private land and without supervision. Pellets and ammunition must never travel past the boundary of the private property on which you are shooting.

The law requires you to take ‘reasonable precautions’ to keep your airgun out of the hands of anyone under 18. If there are under-18s living in the house, or if children come to visit, you will need to make sure your airgun is locked away.

You can only shoot an airgun (or any other gun) on private land, and when you have permission (from the landowner, farmer etc) to do so. If you have an airgun in a public place you must have a ‘reasonable excuse’, such as travelling to or from a shoot, and it should be in a gun cover, unloaded and uncocked.
