The RS14 Evolution is the new flagship straight pull rifle from Austria’s Strasser. The Evolution is positioned to build on its predecessor, the RS14, and boasts an unparalleled level of configuration.
The key feature of the RS14, both past and present, is its modular design. This gives it the ability to quickly, easily and accurately change calibre with no special tools or equipment; in fact, all the tools you need are hidden within the rifle itself.
Strasser has a strong history in precision tooling, including making parts for ESA (European Space Agency) Rockets, so they know precision. It’s this precision that makes their calibre change so unique. The barrel can be removed and changed in less time than it takes to load a magazine, and will always return back to zero. You also only need one magazine for each calibre group which further enhances the calibre change process.
The RS14 Evolution also includes a ‘drop out’ trigger mechanism which is fully hand adjustable. You can adjust the trigger pull weight without any tools.
