Founded in 1978 by Dave Walls, David Caig and Malcolm Cooper. Accuracy International was founded on the construction of high precision target rifles. From the competition models the team at AI developed a range of long range sniper rifles with their first significant order going to the UK Special boat service.
From these humble beginnings the company have seen their rifles serve in multiple wars, with various armed forces. Popular models include the L96, AW Arctic Warfare and now the AXMC.
